Well, first week of our second semester is over. I'm still trying to remember our timetable and which classroom or lecture theatre we are supposed to be at. *needs some time to "fit myself in"* Advanced Biochemistry is proving to be a challenge (already), since I never took the first year module for Biochemistry, which is the case for direct entry second year students. I think I'll try to stay back at night in school so I can read up more. The tutorial is also difficult to tackle since some of the terminology is unfamiliar to me. Or maybe I've just forgotten them. XD

I haven't done spring cleaning for my room this year! There isn't much time for me to do that, and I don't see the point in trying to clean my old wooden table and shelves anyway. It's difficult to clean, and I can't get at the dust in the little gaps since our vacuum cleaner is out of commission, so it wouldn't be thorough. The stains are also going to stay where they are, seeing as they've done so for the past decade. -_- I do however, have a lot of things I want gotten rid of. I still have last year's pile. Mum said she'd do something about it, but that was a year ago too, heh.

I set out this morning to be productive (read: do homework and revision, practice violin more) with my day.

I ended up working on my LJ layout and profile.

*gulp*

I also found a Flash game website called Orisinal. All the games have lovely art and music, so check it out if you like.

Can't remember what time I (accidentally!) fell asleep (probably 9 or 10 p.m.) but I woke up at 3 a.m. only to remember that I still had to finish that research proposal due this afternoon.

Set my handphone alarm to wake myself at 4 but I never did get back to sleep, so I just lay around daydreaming. LOL.

And now that I'm done, there is no point going back to sleep since I have to be out of the house by 6.30 anyway.

Christmas cards to local friends are going to be, well, late. Unbelievable. I'm so so sorry! :S

Also, I heard The Twelve Pains of Christmas over the radio today. Great song. I keep lol-ing at the part where some guy is yelling because his problems with Christmas lights.

Okay. I have two announcements.

One, I've finished my iconfiend100 claim. :D All the icons are right here.

Two, this journal is going on a semi-hiatus. As much as I love LJ and my f-list, I'm really short of time here (or maybe you could argue that I just need better time management XD). This is my second last semester, and my exams are coming up next month. I really have to work even harder because my grades for the common test sucked and will affect my final results. On top of that, I have two reports to write, and my final year project presentation is just next semester. It might seem like I have a lot of time, but at the same time, it's a lot of work. I think it best to start now than have everything snowballing and knocking me off a cliff (so to speak) later on.

So I won't be posting much. I'll try to read my Friends page when I can, but I'll be pretty much invisible around here for some time.
